Citrus County Tourism Information
Citrus County Florida features many
attractions and things to do. Swim with Manatees, Wildlife Parks,
Golf, to museums, Citrus County offers many tourist attractions for
the entire family.

Attractions Include:
- Homosassa
Springs Wildlife Park
Florida
wildlife exhibits including manatees, alligators, bears, birds,
cougars, reptiles, small mammals and more.
- Ted
Williams Museum and Hitters Hall of Fame
Eight
galleries housing a tribute to Ted Williams plus a Hitters Hall of
Fame honoring the best hitters of all time.
- Yulee
Sugarmill Ruins State Historic Site
Historic site
dedicated to Yulee Sugarmill (where Sugarmill Woods got it's
name). A Civil War era mill which supplied southern troops with
sugar during the war.
- Fort
Cooper State Park
This fort was
in use during the 2nd Seminole War. Miles of nature trails are
built around the lake within the park where there is a swimming
area. Each April a Seminole War battle is re-enacted.
